Elkton Magic says YES to the Impossible
Elkton Magic says YES to the impossible: thursday, june 15, 2023

Our full stage show in June will be a fundraiser supporting one of our favorite local non-profits, Youth Empowerment Source. YES is doing amazing things to help prevent disaster amongst at-risk families in our local community, and the impact of their work is evident. Thanks so much to our sustaining sponsors Purnell Body Shop, Moon Air, and Bowers Law for helping us make this a success. With the help of these and our other sponsors, 100% of the ticket sale and t-shirt proceeds will benefit YES.
Tickets to this event will go FAST, so please secure yours today, and don't forget to check out the t-shirts available in the add-on tab of the ticketing site. These shirts are special for this event, and pre-ordering will ensure we have enough quantity at the event for everyone who wants one.
About the performer:
Peter Wood, the Collector of the Impossible, presents incredible, magical objects with unparalleled showmanship.
Penn & Teller praised Peter on national television, saying “You could’ve done this act just like this a hundred years ago, and it would’ve been just as good, and it’s great now.” Baltimore Magazine described Peter as “charming, witty, and amazing,” and the Washington Business Journal said that he “will blow your mind.”
Peter’s interactive show feels like stepping into a cabinet of curiosities, filled with supernatural paintings, mysterious elixirs, mind-reading devices, and more. Blending amazing artifacts with humor and storytelling, Peter Wood has crafted a one-of-a-kind magic show experience that is guaranteed to surprise and delight.
About YES:
Youth Empowerment Source (YES) is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing critical supports to children, youth and families in Cecil County, MD. With a strong focus on prevention and education, YES equips youth and families with the tools young people need to reach successful adulthood.
Our Vision
YES believes in the potential of every child. Unfortunately, many young people don't have the resources, support or advocate they need to reach that potential. We are passionate about our community and strongly believe that education can change the direction we are moving in.
Through prevention programs, comprehensive case management and a strong focus on personal responsibility we know that lives can be changed and improved. We have seen it happen!
When youth say YES to education, when moms and dads say YES to becoming better parents, when a substance user says YES to sobriety and when we ALL say YES to the hard work of self improvement- the community cannot help but be transformed!
